Store :
At the beginning of the establishment of the water and waste water organization, water of the city was stored in 14 stores with the volume of 140000 cubic meters. This volume was not enough for pressure adjustment, compensating for the shortages and everyday water consumption. Now, after so much effort the capacity of the new stores are 310000 cubic meters and that until the end of 1381 280000 cubic meters of its capacity is put into use and this shows a 121% increase in building stores and a 100% increase in the stores in use.
 

Water Stores:
One of the important factors in water supplying services is the amount of the water stored for distribution. In the big cities of the world there are usually an amount of water enough for 24 to 48 hours is stored other than the daily stores and consumption.
In Mashhad, the capacity of the stores in use in 1370 was about 140 thousand cubic meters and because these stores did not have enough capacity and the necessity for the expansion of the water network, constructing new stores was number one on the list of the activities of the company.
Now that we exploit from the stores of the arenas of A, E, Q, and I, the total capacity of the stores are more than 274 thousand cubic meters but still we have not reached the standard of water storage and we are building some other stores. In spite of the lack of the water storage tanks, by using years of the experiences of the managers and those in charge of Abfa y Mashhad, we have been successful in storing and distributing water.
It is good to mention that maintenance and exploitation of these stores is the responsibility of the management of the exploitation installations section.
